Getting There: Flying in
Orlando offers a modern, efficient airport (code: MCO), which is located about 30 minutes from the Disney Parks.

Getting There: Car Rentals or Van/Limo Transfers
Car rentals are recommended for folks staying outside the Disney Resort system, and for those that wish to visit other non-Disney destinations while in Orlando. This includes visiting Universal Studios, Sea World, or the beach (Atlantic or the Gulf).

Van or limo transfers are suitable for folks staying near the Disney parks at a hotel with free transfers to and from the parks. Keep in mind that most of the non-Disney parks have limited transfers to and from the parks, and you'll need to be mindful of their schedules. In contrast, the Disney Resorts have continuous transportation within the Disney property, including bus, boat, and monorail service.

Getting Around: The Disney Transportation System
Staring May 2005, Walt Disney World is offering their new Magical Express transfer program for guests who have booked a Walt Disney World travel package. Ask your travel agent for details, and whether you can add this excellent feature to your package.

Magical Express transfers feature state-of-the-art buses complete with TV monitors doling out Disney movies or orientation videos. The ultra cool part of this new system is that your luggage will be delivered to your room. So, you simply check in to your Disney Resort with no worries.

The Magical Express transfer system also makes your return to the airport simple and straightforward, with luggage handling so that you can spend your last morning at your favorite park if you wish.
